Hi,
I am thinking of running up Snowdon to raise money for charity. Which route would you recommend – the easier to follow the better.
Thanks.

Hi Andy, I think the easiest one to run would be the Llanberis path due to the gradient (check out the profile on Llanberis path route page) and is the one the race is run on. The Ranger is OK until Bwlch Cwm Brwynog and then steepens considerably.
I’ve not yet run properly up, but If and when I manage to get to that stage, it’ll probably be the Llanberis Path I’d plump for.
If you do plump for a route and you’re raising funds on-line, feel free to post the link on the comments section of the relevant route if you’d like some publicity.

Hi Dave,
This is one of the better walks up Snowdon – mainly due to there being less people!! However it would be good to include the longer version which again starts at Llanberis but takes in Moel Eilio, Foel Gron and Foel Goch as well. Although very long it is, in my view, the best Snowdon walk. After that, it makes a pint taste far much better and deserving.
Brilliant site by the way.
Thanks

Thanks for the feed back!
I couldn’t agree more about the Eilio – Wyddfa route, one of the best long walks you can have on Snowdon and used to be one of my stock walks. It’s on the site at the following link: http://www.walkupsnowdon.co.uk/?p=211
